Sushisamba brings the culture and cuisine of Japan, Brazil and Peru to Amsterdam. This restaurant is situated at a beautiful canal from the seventeenth century, which is part of the UNESCO World Heritage List. In the summer you can have your meal outside for an inviting open air dining experience. In the winter the restaurant has a warm and hospitable ambiance. There is an open kitchen, so the guests can see everything that happens in the kitchen. The restaurant has floor-to-ceiling windows, so you can enjoy the view.

A unique mix at Sushisamba

At Sushisamba you experience a unique mix of food from the Japanese, Brazilian and Peruvian culture. This mix has its origin in the early twentieth century. Many Japanese people moved to South America to work at coffee plantations. It’s here where these three cultures came together. As part of the experience in the restaurant, guests share most of the servings. Be sure to try the traditional meals and the more innovative meals, such as anticuchos, tuna tataki and sawagani. Taste the remarkable combination of food from different cultures at Sushisamba.
