MOCO Museum: Modern, Contemporary & Street Art Museum
The MOCO Museum is the place in Amsterdam where you can experience a wide range of modern, inspiring and contemporary art. The museum is an ode to the “rock stars of art.” On the walls and in the garden of the museum you will find artworks from artists such as Banksy, Kaws, Dali, Haring, Koons, Arsham, Kusama, Warhol and Basquiat.
The MOCO Museum wants to bring modern and contemporary art to the public. At the museum they show a wide range of inspiring art from the ‘rockstars of art’, such as Banksy, Kaws, Dali, Haring, Koons, Arsham, Kusama, Warhol en Basquiat. The museum decided to only show artists with a strong vision that makes them special. With a dash of humor and loads of irony all the art at MOCO shows the current society that speaks to a wide audience. Visitors who come to the museum MOCO will experience art that is nowhere to be seen but here.
Owners
The MOCO Museum in Amsterdam is owned by gallery holders Lionel and Kim Logchies. Known from Lionel Gallery in the Spiegelkwartier, a stones throw away from MOCO Museum. With more than eighteen years of experience and a broad art-network they are able to display various international art pieces from private collections.
Museumshop
At the museum giftshop you can buy art, dvd’s, souvenirs, small art pieces and posters. Besides that, MOCO Museum can also inform you about purchasing originals and prints from the ‘rockstars of art.’
